Data plays a key part within a modern education system. It provides the opportunity to effectively monitor the progress of learners, it allows evaluation within evidence-based practice, and it provides the opportunities for huge efficiencies in how school life operates.*
As you may be aware, new regulations on how personal data is managed and stored come into effect on May 25th 2018. At Downfield we have worked closely with the representatives from the county council to ensure we are ready and able to embrace these regulations, ensuring we adhere to a robust system for managing the information we use and share.
In order to do this, there is much documentation and protocol to underpin our new procedures. Please find below a suite of materials designed to provide you with all the information you need to know regarding our policies and procedures.
