Spanish is taught from Year 3 to Year 6 here at Downfield. Children are given the opportunity to read, write, listen and speak in Spanish once a week in their Spanish lessons. We also encourage children to apply their learning incidentally when answering the register, commenting on the weather and in other general, daily conversation.
Our MFL curriculum is delivered using the Language Angels scheme. Details of the curriculum content and coverage can be found in the documents below.
