The Multiplication Tables Check (MTC) is a statutory assessment delivered to pupils in Year 4. We are required to deliver this test during a two week window in the summer term. The test aims to find out how secure pupils are with their times tables. A full desciption of the test can be seen in the leaflet produced by the DFE, above.
Children complete the test on an IPad or similar device and there are lots of apps available to provide a familar, practice experience if required. Here are a few examples which you can try.
